According to Delteil, this image is one of the most beautiful of Pissarro's prints. In spite of the stated size of the edition of 50, this is a very rare print, and is not well represented in museum collections. In this, the last state, the additional work on the plate gives it a depth and luminosity, which make this one of the highlights of Impressionist printmaking. Pissarro exhibited this print in four different states in the Impressionist exhibition of 1880.
